SARAH J WARREN

CREATOR

In the early morning light, the creak of the 300-year-old floorboards was often the first sound Sarah heard as she stepped out of her room in the haunted Flintstone farmhouse where she grew up in Hambledon, Hampshire. It was the 1970s, and her childhood was steeped in the mysterious and the paranormal.

In 1995, at the age of 25, she moved to Kent, seeking new adventures and other potential hauntings.
Her dedication has made her a seasoned investigator with decades of experience.
Despite her passion and expertise, Sarah struggled early on to find Paranormal events in Kent, spending countless hours scouring the internet. On many weekends, she traveled up to 50 miles to participate in investigations, determined to satisfy her curiosity. The time-consuming nature of this pursuit highlighted a significant gap that Sarah aimed to fill with her future endeavors.
This journey began in 2012 with a Facebook page that shared information, advertised events, and wrote about hauntings in Kent.
In 2016, Sarah's vision became reality with the Garden of England Paranormal Spirits website. Her aim was to create a unique, comprehensive online reference on Kent's haunted history, accessible to the public. The site offers not only detailed historical accounts of haunted historical locations but also provides investigation tips and fosters a community for those interested in the paranormal. With the tagline 'Explore, Experience, Engage with Kent's Haunted Past,' Sarah hopes it becomes the primary resource for information about haunted sites to visit in Kent.
This is a hobby, not a business, so Sarah does not earn money from it and works on it in her spare time.
