MEDICAL INSTITUTIONS
Some of the counties' medical buildings survive as community health care centres, nursing homes, or apartment blocks. Some demolished and their sites have become housing estates, supermarkets, and even prisons. Some are being redeveloped or lie vacant'
So here GofEPS will delve into the history of our county's old hospitals and institutions that still stand today with a haunted story to tell.
R. A. FÂ BASES & MILITARY HAUNTINGS
During WWI & WWII there were over 50 R.A.F Â bases and airfields and they played an important role in the Battle of Britain. Some still used today, others, just a distant memory but that hasn't stopped some spirits and energies remaining, and GofEPS are researching what places still have the past lingering within them.
SCHOOLS & EDUCATION FACILITIES
There are many reports of child spirits seen across Kent in other buildings or places. GofEPS will delve into the areas around Kent, where children spent most of their time, to see what spirits still linger in the classrooms.
SHOPS & COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES
There are various shops with haunting tales of the Paranormal, some old homes, pubs are amongst those that are now used as commercial shops but that doesnt move the spirits there along.
GofEPS are currently researching all the stories of haunted happenings. within these establishments in our county of Kent.
WORKHOUSES & CHILDRENS HOMES
The origins of the workhouse, colloquially known as a spike. It was a place where those unable to support themselves, were offered accommodation and employment.
Used for minor offences for criminals, using hard labour as a punishment
Some of the main ones had an infirmary attached to assist the ill and dying.
Children's homes were no better, many sent out to work in Mills and factories to earn their keep. Punishments harsh.
They weren't nice places to live in, so it's no surprise the residual energies and maybe some spirits still exist.
GofEPS will embark to find out if any are still around with a haunting story attached to it.​
